I’m sure you all know people like this. Hell, I’m pretty sure I’ve been guilty of it a couple of times.

It’s backseat gamers that are the reason I don’t play RTS’s because instead of letting you figure out build orders and tech trees on your own, you always have some asshat in your ear telling you you’re a moron for not doing things a certain way and that you’re doomed for failure.

Just thinking about it makes my blood boil. Please excuse me, I’ve gotta go cap some fools in Halo 3 now.

A hearty Happy Canada Day to all of my fellow Canadians. This is our day to remember how awesome we are as a country. I’m going to try to enjoy it despite the forecasted rain tomorrow.

To all my wonderful American readers, I haven’t forgotten about you! I know your nation’s birthday is coming up on Saturday. How do I know that you might ask? Well because it happens to be my birthday as well! Joyous times all around!

Listening to the latest Webcomic Beacon today I was happy to hear the hosts give their impressions of ONAM. If you’d like to hear what they said you can check out the podcast here. Their thoughts about the comic begin at around the 29 minute mark.

Their impressions were mostly positive, which is a quite an improvement from the review I received last year. My thanks go out to Fes, Tanya and Mark for taking the time to check out Of Noobs And Men.

After almost two years of ONAM I am very excited to announce that I am now offering the first ever Of Noobs And Men merchandise! I was really expecting that the press conferences at this years E3 would be vastly different in terms of quality. I was all set to do a comic about one company mercilessly beating another. But then the actual events were pretty much all good.

The Microsoft one showed a bunch of great games and a damn cool new peice of tech. The Sony presser had GoW3 and some neat new titles. And their glowing penis motion controller thing. Nintendo was a vast improvement over last year and despite their use of charts and boring statistics still managed to keep me interested with core game announcements galore.
