Out of the blue, here is the first ever Of Noobs and Men Podcast! It’s a little rough around the edges, (especially the audio in the beginning) but it’s still an enjoyble listen. If you have any comments or questions for me or Jason or ideas on what to call the show, feel free to email me (evan at ofnoobsandmen dot com) or let fly in the comments section of this post. We may read them on the next podcast.

Hmm… Of Noobs and Men Podcast might be a little long for todays trendy youth. I think the shorter, the better. oNaMCast, Noobcast, or ONAM-A-PCAST!!! Also an illegitimate celebrity endorsement would work too; Evan and Brad Pitt present: ONAM-O-CAST!!! I haven’t actually listened to it yet, 31 MB takes a while on my internets. Just do whatever you and marketing come up with.

Evan, my review of a random Wiiware game incase you want to get it. My life as a Darklord: It’s a tower defence game that has a new twist, instead of a base and building mass amounts or towers to protect it, you have one tower and you build it each round, the good guys (your the bad guy) will try to scale it and if one gets on top, you lose. It starts of slow but gets fun. The downside is they made this extremely hard to get you to buy the DLC, the DLC has all the good creatures and spells, even the costumes add effects like healing your minions. There is also an extra chapter you can buy. The real BS is that in the game, you get items that boost how much money you get each round, the problem is that you can buy more of them but they are 200 Wii points each. It’s great if you have lots of extra wii points.

I dl’d the Wet demo, I didn’t like it at all. My ability to aim in a Third Person Shooter goes to shit when you a) Manipulate the roll (most shooters are just pitch and yaw) and b) Slow down time and stick reaction speeds. I am going to be the first person to say this (probably) on your site; I hate Megaman. As cool as the music was, it is forever tainted in my mind because of its relation to my least favourite platformer of all time. Good news, Champions Online I think is also coming out on 360. I am kinda with you on the Open World games Jason. I like Oblivion (it is a more of an RPG than the others) but don’t like the GTA series.

Glee was funny. The guidance councillor was my favourite character.

I have been in an MMO binge. I played WoW:TBC from lvl 60 to 70 in the first 10 days it was out.

Overall really good guys. My only question is what are you using for recording? It sounded as though you didn’t have a foam cover for the mic and the air from certain words caused wind gust sounds.

    BTW: Twitter sucks.

That sounds evil of the developers to go that route.
